The Hartnackschule Team
The Think Tank
Our Education Coordinators are the creative interface between the teaching staff and the school management. They imbibe new ideas and suggestions for improvement, and realise the most promising of these in project work.

Our school office staff
Coherent structures ensure that our customers are always guaranteed a competent and congenial contact person. Our school office employees can offer advice in seven languages - German, English, French, Arabic, Polish Russian and Turkish. Should our customers have any questions or problems, they may also speak directly with the office administration.
The Examination Commission
The Hartnackschule Berlin┬┤s certification examinations are widely renowned and recognized for their quality standard at universities in Berlin, Brandenburg and throughout Germany. Under the auspices of the School Administrator, this standard is monitored by an eight-strong team of examination specialists. The team also develops examinations, preliminary exam courses and evaluation tests. Our foreign students think especially highly of our DSH (Deutsche Sprachpr├╝fung f├╝r den Hochschulzugang ausl├Ąndischer Studienbewerber) courses, the German-language examination for foreign candidates at third-level institutes in Germany, and our lecture preparation courses, in which the candidate is groomed intensively for their third-level education at a German university.
The Editorial Staff
Alongside standard text books, the Hartnackschule Berlin avails itself of self-developed teaching material, which incorporate proposals made by the teachers and their many years of teaching experience. Our editors at Elementary and Intermediate Level are responsible for the regular update of the teaching material.
At the Hartnackschule Berlin, no new employee is "left to their own devices". Our mentors from the Elementary Level, from the Intermediate I and II Levels and from the university preparation courses introduce the new colleagues to the complexity of the position, provide them with all the necessary teaching material and accompany them until the have become familiarized with all the ins and outs.
Our Central Placement Team
Employees with extensive teaching experience in all levels of German as a Foreign Language and English and with outstanding social and communicative competence carry out placement examinations daily for new participants with previous knowledge of the course language.
